Radical Transparency in the Ingredient Supply Chain
When the word “transparency” is used in the supplement industry, the target is typically the consumer. However, the transparency that is going to build confidence along the supply chain has to begin with business-to-business relationships. Sherry Wang hopes to bring that B2B transparency to brands with an Amazon-like experience allowing them to shop ingredients in China; knowing the manufacturer is vetted and the ingredients tested. Wang will talk about how the system works and how technology-enabled transparency is set to both tighten and transform the supply chain.
